Events

The ASTRA network regularly organises events which aim to promote the sharing of good practice and experiences, and contribute to the enhancement of participants’ skills base.

“Coin de champ” visits

The objective of these visits is to discover first-hand the practice of social agriculture and the accompaniment of the service-users. Two types of visits are possible:

  • Half-day ‘discovery’ visits to find out about social and therapeutic agriculture projects;
  • Immersion days, to gain a deeper understanding of methods of accompanying service-users in an agricultural context.

For more information about the next “coin de champ” visits, consult our calendar or contact us.

“Coin de champ” group fieldtrips

This option is for agricultural and social care colleges or networks, to enable groups of students to learn about the realities of social and therapeutic agriculture via an on-the-ground approach. The ASTRA network can organise a “coin de champ” visit which corresponds to the group’s specific learning objectives and its location.
